BEDFORD HOTEL TO HOST SUMMER FOOD FESTIVAL

The Bedford Hotel is to host an end of summer Food Festival on Saturday and Sunday September 11th and 12th 2010. The Festival will be organised by Tavistock Food Festivals.

Festival Chairman, Jeffrey Stackhouse, said of the festival “We are absolutely delighted to be able to hold our Festival this year in the very heart of Tavistock which is our ‘spiritual‘ home. We have had a fantastic response from exhibitors who have already filled over half of the stands available. The car park will be the principal exhibition area and the garden will become a rest and refreshment area. The venue is superb and avoids the loss of the main Bedford car park over the weekend.

The Bedford Hotel will be serving Devonshire cream teas throughout the weekend which will serve to highlight Langage Farm‘s efforts with the EEC to protect the County origins of ‘Devon Cream Teas‘. Langage Farm will be one of our main exhibitors selling their Devon cream and Devon ice cream.”

This year the Festival‘s chosen charities are St Luke‘s Hospice and Devon Air Ambulance.
